I certainly hope the money for funding the balance of #Initiative83 can be allotted. It's about $1.1 million dollars. For those keeping track, besides ranked choice voting, Initiative 83 would permit DC's 85,000 independents vote in primary elections. Now is as good a time as any to fund this!

Amazing example why we need Majority elections via Ranked Choice Voting. White was kicked out of office and faces federal bribery trial but he got elected again as opposition was divided and didn't need 30%.
Fortunately, DC can soon oust corrupt politicians now that RCV in #Initiative83 is funded.
