A large black dragonfly with yellow rings around it hangs from a rush leaf. It is very long and thin, with a wider part near the tip of its abdomen. Most of the body has the yellow and black warning colours but its eyes are bright green.

A butterfly whose wings are mainly dark brown, with extensive white patches. It is sitting on a path in a woodland, in a sunny spot.
