This detailed image, created from 1060 hours of exposure time, reveals vibrant H II regions, glowing clouds of ionized hydrogen sculpted by stellar winds and UV radiation. The prominent Tarantula Nebula is visible as a large star-forming region. The LMC is approximately 15,000 light-years across and 160,000 light-years from Earth.
