Three hours of tidying and cleaning. I'll spare you the details, mainly because my mind has blanked out the horror, but I did get to the bottom of the #IroningPileOfDoom AND clean the conservatory so now I deserve a Nice Lunch.

Tomorrow is the #IroningPileOfDoom, I fear. It's hard to plan ahead when the weather forecast changes by the minute. At the moment it's going to be wet tomorrow, just in case we thought spring was here. In #BadHousekeeping news, I did clear out the freezer today, and dropped a mixture of frozen veg.

Finished the #IroningPileOfDoom, except for the duvet covers which would have taken another hour and I really, really couldn't.

Good morning, one and all.

Another dreich day today. I shall be knitting. Tomorrow is going to be devoted to the dubious delights of finishing the #IroningPileOfDoom with a new ironing board cover AND a fancy wool pad underneath it, but said pad is not arriving until tomorrow.

One hour and five minutes on the #IroningPileOfDoom. Three shirts, a robe, a pair of jeans, a nightshirt, a duster, two napkins and eight tea towels.

Enough for now.

Have sorted the clean, dry washing and put away that which does not need to be ironed. The #IroningPileOfDoom is at least two hours high at the moment and - wait for it - I haven't yet added any of the washing I've done during the last 24 hours because none of that is dry yet.

In this week's 'Thinking outside the box' news from #SneezyTowers, I have brought the outdoor whirligig in and erected (ooer!) it in the conservatory where it will, I hope enable some of the backlog of washing to dry off.

There will shortly (about Tuesday) be an absolutely epic #IroningPileOfDoom.

What I'm going to do: pick brambles and make a crumble.

I'm knackered and the sweat was dripping off me.

I'm maybe 3/5 through it. That's enough #BadHousekeeping for today.

I'm knackered but at least I have clean and ironed stripey trousers to wear tomorrow.

Today I've tidied up (again) run the robot (again) done me bins (one day early v. gd) been up the road to the farm for eggs (success! there were eggs) and, so far, avoided the #IroningPileOfDoom.

We shall shortly be entering #TheLongDarkTeatimeOfTheSoul.

Also, it's raining and the #catpest is out.

I have vanquished the #IroningPileOfDoom. The last session was only 20 minutes or so.

I've emptied and reloaded the dishwasher, wiped down the kitchen counters, chucked small amounts of rancid food out of the fridge and run the robot downstairs.

I do not plan to do further #BadHousekeeping today.
