Brick relief from the processional way leading to the Ishtar Gate, a gate to the ancient city of Babylon. Built 569 BC, King Nebuchadnezzar II. This brick relief depicts an auroch, which is a now extinct bovine. The animal is against a deep blue background with an orange border and daisies running along the lower panel.
