Just a few pics from last night's game. We played a simplified Fornovo in 28mm using a OHW variant. Great game a win for the Italians...though there were a few tricky moments for them!

Landsknechts in various stages of painting.
I've found these Landsknechts from my haphazard #Italianwars project. They're 15mm Venexia figures.
I vividly remember being unhappy with them, because the whole idea is their dress being wild & flamboyant, whereas these felt just disjointed.
I'll see how these guys look with some work and a base.

Ive been reading through these two recently. Lovely stuff. I have an Italian Wars idea, stalled but life was, and maybe still is, a bit too messy to focus on it.

Gaming today. Furioso for the Italian Wars. French took the field and decimated the Italians with the superior Swiss pike outperforming the Landsknecht.
