Watchdog rules Alcoa claims about jarrah forest rehabilitation not true US aluminium giant Alcoa made inaccurate or misleading claims in an advertisement about its rehabilitation of the forests it mines in, Australia's advertising watchdog finds.

A complaint by environmental groups about an #Alcoa newspaper advertisement has been upheld by Ad Standards.
The watchdog found the advert's claim that Alcoa had rehabilitated 75 per cent of the #jarrah forest it had cleared was not truthful.
