I could have gotten a bit closer than 200mm, they’re fairly food motivated. I was more or less just fooling around, killing time.

The moon wasn’t yet full, I think it had a day or two left on it. I was able to process and stack the image to pull out some of the colors in the moon sand. I think it’s a total of 500 layer masks of the moon. I was going to try and bring out the stars a bit more, but I was afraid of over processing the photo. Canon T2i Rebel, Jintu Super Telephoto 420mm - 800mm Lens and UV filter. ISO 100 600mm f9 @ 1/60s

I’m pretty happy with the final result.
( Really learning to read that histogram, gotten a little rusty since college. )

The image was taken with my Canon T2i equip with Jintu len, while walking the Baxter Park Loop, in Falmouth.

Fort Gorges, built between 1858 and 1864. It’s just sitting out there on Hog’s Island ( if you can call it an island ), located in Casco Bay.

It was only accessible by ship and the design was taken from Fort Sumter.

This is more or less the same color I could see with my eyes. The image was taken in manual mode.

I was waiting around taking pictures of a little waterfall; when he came flying in and noticed me. He landed and came swimming over to check me out for a moment. Luckily he hung around for me to get a few good ones. I feel blessed! 🥹 🦆

I’m still trying to figure out how to work DeepSky Stacker. So I’ve been stacking and processing everything within photoshop. I set my camera up on a tripod and took the image from my kitchen window; according to Stellarium’s information and position in the night sky, this is Venus. I’m not yet sure if these are clouds or surface textures. Google says result may vary due to time of year and due to wind speed. Wind speeds are up to 220mph ( 360kph ) and they themselves vary due to altitude, latitude and the time of day.

This is maybe the 100th picture I’ve taken now. It’s a work in progress.
