His eyebrows are drawn down as he looks slightly off to the side. There is a hand on his face, thumb pressed into his cheek and slightly lifting his lip. Another hand at the top of the canvas pulls black, web-like strands from out of the top of his head. Where the strands connect to Crichton there is exposed pink brain, as if a piece of his head and skull have been completely removed. Around this section, he still has short brown hair. The background is primarily a dark brown-grey, with a burst of dull yellow behind Crichton's head.
