Trying to use my #JollaC2 more. Not quite a daily driver, but using it when I want to disconnect (as it disconnects from wifi often 😆). The lag makes me doom scroll less. It's still clunky, but ebooks are fine on the big screen. Just downloaded #Kalevala! Well made #SailfishOS apps are a joy to use.

The system updates screen in Jolla C2's settings, showing Sailfish OS version 5.0.0.72 and that it's "up to date". The version codename is Tampella and there's an image of the Tampella factory area which is actually in my hood :)
#SailfishOS update on my #JollaC2. I wish I could enjoy Sailfish more on this device like I did with previous devices but the C2 is just slow and laggy enough to put me off. Or maybe I'm getting old and cranky. Anyway, #nextgenjollaphone sounds promising! Looking forward to the progress.

Is there a way to enable IPv6 in Hotspot-Mode on @jolla #SailfishOS on #JollaC2 ?
Sadly my Homeserver only has an external IPv6 Adress, so my Jolla Phone can connect with IPv6, but my Laptop using the C2 as #Tethering hotspot can't
I see, this is a known connman issue […]

There are problems with calls/texts but that should be fixed with the VoLTE update. Some people have already started using #JollaC2 as their daily driver: forum.sailfishos.org/t/feedback-o... (long but good read if interested in the device)

On the side of the protective case that came with the C2, it reads "S19 Max Pro S".
I found a purple version of the Reeder S19 Max Pro S on Amazon Turkey site, this would have been my colour of choice.
Despite the size, the #JollaC2 is a nice piece of hardware. I kinda wish Jolla offered the purple version of "Reeder S19 Max Pro S" though... I lol-ed at the name, let's stick with C2.
Display is bright enough (well, Finland is kinda dark now for proper testing), speakers are loud enough...

I'm holding the C2 with my left hand, my fingers behind the device supporting it and my thumb barely able to reach the center of the screen. Just one nudge and the phone will topple out of my grip.
Three devices side by side, from left - the Jolla C2 towering over the Jolla C and the original Jolla.
Size matters.
Why do most manufacturers think Pro Max Plus Ultra XL is the best? Do most users think the same?
When I can't even reach the middle of the phone, there's no way I can properly balance it. #SailfishOS gestures help but only up to a point.
If only the #JollaC2 was the size of #JollaC.

Great to see people receiving their #JollaC2 devices! While I was busy travelling last month across 3 continents for family reunion and conferences, I totally missed the "complete your order" email for mine, and just placed my order yesterday. Hope it arrives in time for Christmas :)
