It is strange to think how worried Kai gets the first time she is so close with a person that she likes so dearly, when they always find the rhythm of her machinery soothing once they nuzzled into her. For Kainite doesn't have heart, along with her family, it and most of her physical body had been stripped from her, leaving her as an echo of a bygone person. Unsure where the machine begins and the person remains. And while doubt creeps up on Kai like phishing mail, there's been one remedy that's always aided her soul to feel grounded in this strange, mechanical horror she is beholden to: The Love of someone who sees well beyond the steel, electrope and pink glowing blood. People such as her dearest blaze; Basanite, a wonderfully witty smuggler. And people like her little bug; Vivian, a sweetly determinated hacker.
