During a starry night, Lomasi and R'tcha embrace on the hill they had first connected upon, in the distance the lighthouse that R'tcha's parents had died to keep operational during the moon's fall quietly shines a guiding light into the sea. R'tcha had just asked a very important question to whom she had previously called her best friend. "Would you be my mom?" A question that had Lomasi react by freezing, perhaps the first time R'tcha had ever seen the quick wit of the redhead leave her completely. Being someone's mother... She's never even consider her one day being such, let alone to be loved by a child so much that she'd hear such a question brushing over their lip. And when she finally acted, she fell to her knees and welcomed R'tcha into her arms; Embraced her daughter with all her heart. For the first night of countless nights to follow they would be family in all senses but legally... The paperwork, could wait until the morrow, since for now. All they wanted was to be with their family.

Lomasi sees Colette as her mentor, even after her redmage training is complete.
While she herself becomes the mentor of R'tcha, teaching her lors about redmagic.. But she's also her mother, so balancing the two can be a little difficult at times.
But the two manage.

#LomasiXIV for a long time Lomasi would've gone "Of my own? Naaah, ain't exactly the motherly sort" being fairly disinterested by the thought.. Until she kinda stumbled into motherhood after taking care of some orphan kids as well as the child of one of her partners.
