Yes! I would argue that it's important for all mss to have at least a couple of read-alouds from other folks. Even non-rhyming books. Even novels (though they might just be willing to read a chapter or two--but that's still helpful)! #KidLitChat

Organizing ideas for a manuscript can be a trek in wilderness for sure.

Yes. Rhyme is difficult to do well, but even people who don't know *why* it isn't working will notice that it isn't done well. Bad rhyme (even mediocre rhyme) can be jarring enough for readers that it makes sense to me that agents/editors are picky about it. #KidLitChat

Fun fact: microfiche and microfilm are two different, but very similar, formats. I used to really enjoy doing the research that meant I got to use the microfiche or microfilm readers. Now, so much is digitized that a lot of people don't have those experiences. #KidLitChat
