£60 for my lads recycled kitchen. Not everyone can have new... Will have it in place and a gas man to fit... #kirkdale

Reuse, recycle... It's not going to last for long. But again... The top units were going into a skip... So they've been rescued and refused here in my son's house. Will do until he can afford a new kitchen. #kirkdale

So then....tiles. total cost £3. Renovation to a shower in my son's starter home. Everything leaks, everything is wonky... Fixed and waterproofed and functional (but not pretty)... It'll do until he can save up for a new bathroom #kirkdale

Removing back yard decking. Took blood sweat and tears. Disgust at the rat nests underneath... Ugh. All gone... #kirkdale

Old Renovation materials removed... Absolutely detritus... #kirkdale

We removed the plaster back to the brick. I dot and dabbed new boards to the wall. A quick skim, I did the finish and cleaned up some dints. Renovation for very few £. The objective isn't to finish but to reset the house as a clean slate for my lad. #kirkdale

Before ... Annnd 4 days of labour... ...and after... Helping my young son set up home by renovating for pennies... #kirkdale
