Another ink from #kittyinkpot “forest wind knows where to find the mountain bird”. The chromo was promising, but was hard to manipulate different components, especially when applied from a drier fountain pen nib. It just needs experimenting first.

A general layout photo with open book on dirt. Ink swatch on left, poem on right, and pen in the centerline of the book. The theme is very orange
A handwritten poem in pinky-orange ink, The Bird Eats A Building The bird lands in a puddle, instantly shattering the reflection of a building, which she eats in pieces like a cracker crushed in soup. She dips her wings into pavement, throws her head backwards, gargles the second floor copier before flying away, leaving the puddle to grow a skyscraper - like Prometheus developing a new liver each night, the price of stealing fire. Danielle Hanson
Close up of writing with pen, showing the colours are similar. The pen is an esterbrook estie in petrified forest colorway.
Ink swatch. The ink is a pink with strong orange tones. Looking at where the ink could have been heaviest, some yellow and blue is faintly there.

Handwritten poem in a5 gridded book resting on dead leaves. Postscript What we did to the earth, we did to our daughters one after the other. What we did to the trees, we did to our elders stacked in their wheelchairs by the lunchroom door. What we did to our daughters, we did to our sons calling out for their mothers. What we did to the trees, what we did to the earth, we did to our sons, to our daughters. What we did to the cow, to the pig, to the lamb, we did to the earth, butchered and milked it. Few of us knew what the bird calls meant or what the fires were saying. We took of earth and took and took, and the earth seemed not to mind until one of our daughters shouted: it was right in front of you, right in front of your eyes and you didn't see. The air turned red. The ocean grew teeth. Marie Howe
Close up of handwriting showing the ink is a shading light to dark (navy) blue with orange-brown where the ink was heaviest. Text in focus says "what we did"
Photo of circular ink swatch cut outs glued to a larger piece of paper on dead leaves. It has the title "Kitty Inkpot" written at the top. Swatches are of iroful, Tomoe R, Yu-sari, Bank, Leuch (leuchtturm), Lightforce, Midori and Sheep Cloud papers.
