For #ShowMeYourKnits this week it’s #KnittingWIP and inspiration. Just started a new beanie, inspired by 🧶 I received in a knitting subscription box, and a pattern for a spring knitting challenge. I love my 🐈⬛ stitch markers, particularly when I find one that matches the yarn!

A Knitted Blanket WIP made of many colors. The border is orange, and inside it is pink, white, orange, blue, olive, and yellow. The pink takes up the stockinette and reverse stockinette sections. The multi colored yarn which is blue, white, orange, olive and pink takes up the moss sections. The yellow yarn takes up the eyelet sections.
The same blanket WIP as the other image, with my hand for size reference. The blanket is a lot bigger than my hand.

A purple-gradient ribbed sock on a brown couch.
A ribbed sock in its entirety. The cuff is 1 by 1 ribbing, dark grey, and lightening into a 3 knit by 1 purl ribbing. Eventually, near the heel, the color lightens to an almost silver color, and then lavender appears along the foot. The color deepens further into a solid purple toe.

I’ve been working away on my Porcelain sweater. I’m using Isager Tvinni and Knitting for Olive mohair. I’m steeking the armholes and starting to think I don’t need to reinforce at all because both of these yarns are so sticky. What do you think?🧶

I finished my #StepByStepSweater! I am pleasantly surprised and relieved at how well the dodgy kinked yarn blocked out. This was the second knit project I tried (after a sock) so I learned a lot and look forward to starting another jumper soon!

This #StepByStepSweater is starting to look like a real jumper! I’ve finished the raglan increases and split the sleeves. I’m aiming for an oversized cropped fit so I’m thinking I’ll do around 18cm/40rounds-ish for the body before the 7cm ribbing. 🧶
