It took a few hours to do, and there are bears there in the Spring (My wife is crazy, she's always telling me to be quiet so I don't scare the bears away? That was the idea.
She always wants to see bears. I do not.

A few polypores have formed on the cut end of a log, surrounded by green moss and fern

I don't know what kind of mushroom this is, it's a phallic shape, just looks like a big dick on the grass.

The trail takes a lot longer #FungiFriend
if you stop to smell the 🍄 along the way.

A very smooth river. The harbour side, at Liscomb Mills, before getting into rocky areas, waterfalls that stop the transit

Along the North Liscomb River trail, various waterfalls appear, some only clearly noticed from one side of the trail, that loops around and crosses the river at the trail head

A sample of the *good part* of the trail. A narrow worn path, with trees cleared around. The trail runs from the private property of Liscombe Lodge Resort, and for their guests, their side has gravel, paths cleared and more. The LOOP is much more rugged on the other side, but worth it, wear good boots.

I've hiked every part of #Liscomb, even the parts separated by Wilsons Cove www.google.com/maps/place/L..., you'll want to visit at different times. There's lots of bears on North Trail in spring.
The lower Mayflower #Trail might be better during that time.

The rocks and waterfalls of Liscomb Mills, with the resort, Liscombe Lodge cabins behind. The experience is unique, tranquil and enjoyable. The prices are high.

There's more than one #LISCOMB name in #NovaScotia.
None have an 'E' at the end, except 'Liscombe Lodge Resort'. This is #LiscombMills from under the bridge at #7 HWY.
People don't see this view, you need a boat & it has to come in from West Liscomb to the River #WAYCTV
