We drove to Valles Caldera National Preserve yesterday to look for elk. There was a herd in the meadow, but too far away to make out individuals. The drive was spectacular, though. In 30 miles we saw a half dozen different types of mountains, deep ravines, and great beauty. #LandOfEnchantment
