A magnificent Oak tree which has divided from one trunk into four a few metres above the ground. It is sited in hedge row that runs along an old (quite likely dating back to the Middle Ages or earlier) country lane, it is well over two metres (6.5ft) in diameter which suggest it could date back to the 16th Century and the Reign of Elizabeth the first !
It's also #ThickTrunkTuesday (join in using the hashtag if you wish) where we celebrate the glory of trees 🌳
