Playing through Landstalker again, in the wake of its 33rd birthday, and I love it every bit as much as I did back then: It's gorgeous, funny, more than a little finicky at times, and the closest 16bit SEGA ever came to producing a "Zelda Killer". Always bring enough EkeEke!

I adjusted the hitstop a bit. Instead of TimeScale set to 0, it is now set to 0.2. I think it looks super smooth and especially aerial combat is now finally off my list of "What am I even doing?". #gamedev #solodev #indiegame #landstalker #mazestalker
