Chased the two most recent episodes of #Pluribus with a rewatch of the first two episodes of #LastManOnEarth. The fact that this show ever aired on broadcast TV is wild.

☢️#39. The Quiet Earth, 1985. A humane and masterfully executed take on the #LastManonEarth story. Perhaps not exciting enough for some, it’s humor and inventiveness make it quickly apparent as to why it’s held in such high regard. A criminally under-watched #cultclassic. 4/5☢️

I’m re-watching #lastmanonearth from the beginning – just watch first 2 episodes & I’m surprisingly touched. I was disappointed when the series ended but after finding out the plans for the next season, I’m kind of glad it did. I couldn’t have watched all the new people die.

The fact that @foxtv cancelled #Brooklyn99 and #LastManOnEarth, and picked up #LastManStanding proves that there is not justice in this world.
