A close up of a Plum Tortrix moth sitting on an indoor window frame. The forewing is blackish and leaden bluish grey, sparsely speckled whitish, the outer edge of the dark basal patch angled outwards near the middle, the apical third whitish, mottled silvery greyish and dark brown; there are two blackish dots placed beyond the angle of the outer edge of the dark basal patch, and dark brown quarter circle mark at the apex.

I thought this micro-moth looked good for Plum Tortrix, Hedya pruniana. A small Petrophila moth rests gently on a vibrant green leaf.
