The kid read an excerpt from Clementine as part of his 3rd grade curriculum. He loved it so much that he immediately searched for the book at our local library so he could read the entire story. Then he searched for another book from the series on Libby. I love my #librarykid

Oddly enough and in spite of all the things I didn't have as a child. I had access to the internet.
And I used it. I grew up on the internet. 4chan, jjam, etc. I've seen anything and everything and rejected most of it in favor of knowledge and compassion.

My friend laughs when she sees I’ve packed a lunch on the days when the kid and I go to the library. She doesn’t understand how we can be content being here for 4-6 hours. The kid loves being surrounded by interesting books and meeting new people. I’m glad I’m raising a #librarykid
