My go-to spot for Wheatears finally came good, had 3 males and a fem on a ploughed field at Barkston Heath, then later 4m and 2 f were on the aerodrome. Checked back on the fields and they'd moved so probs 6 total. #lincsbirders #ukbirding

Horrible day! An afternoon walk around the patch actually turned into a decent session, 7 new year ticks. 2 Whoopers over low in the murk, 2 Snipe, 3 Chiffys, lots of winter thrushes, 25 Meadow pipits, 100 Linnets, 55 House Sparrow most I've seen here. Birds very confiding #UKbirding #Lincsbirders
Finished my Marston stw year on 105 species, 1 up on last year, which was the lowest ever, so par with the 'new' standard.
