A colour Polaroid photograph of a large stone building on a street corner in Llanrwst, Wales. The building has tall sash windows, a steep tiled roof with dormer windows, and chimneys at either end. A car is parked along the quiet street, with soft sunlight creating a washed-out, vintage effect across the scene.

Printed colour postcard showing an illustration of Llanrwst Bridge in Denbighshire.

Published by C W Faulkner & Co Ltd, London, No 1756.

Postally used on 21 December 1931 with Brighton & Hove cancellation on red one penny stamp and sent to Mr & Mrs Bacon, 14 Harcourt Road, Thornton Heath, Surrey.

Fairly good condition, with some corner bumps, but strong seepage from postmark through to the front.

This photo depicts an overgrown, semi-abandoned area cluttered with a large number of used tires. The tires vary in size, with two very large ones—likely from agricultural or industrial machinery—prominently placed near the center. Smaller tires are scattered and stacked to the right. On the left side of the image, there's a rusted metal gate entwined with ivy and vegetation, adding to the sense of neglect. The ground is cracked and uneven, and surrounding trees and shrubs are growing wild. In the background, tree-covered hills rise under a pale sky, suggesting a rural or edge-of-town setting. The overall atmosphere is quiet, slightly eerie, and overgrown with nature reclaiming the space.
