The finds from the Temple of Mithras in the Museum of London. #LondonHistoryDay
As it's #LondonHistoryDay, here's the London Mithraeum for #RomanSiteSaturday, a temple built and dedicated to the worship of Mithras on the banks of the river Walbrook c. AD 240. Discovered in 1954, it was reconstructed under the Bloomberg London building, slightly west of its original location.
Happy #LondonHistoryDay!
