Wildcat Ravine lies further along the #LongPath. The tallest #waterfall here plunges 100 feet and is inaccessible without proper gear. This smaller one sits just upstream of the main fall.

Hiked the #longpath from Sam’s Point to Verkeerderkill Falls with a small crew. Easy trail through blueberry fields and cliffs, but the cold wind, blood sacrifices (again), and a failed #creek crossing kept things interesting.

Completed the section of the #longpath that I skipped last Sunday. The first mile of this route is the site of 2024 Whitehouse forest fire. Started wet and foggy. By midday the fog lifted and occasionally sun popped out.

This road in Sundown #Forest pretends it's a highway—and that it’s actually maintained. It is drivable with enough clearance and a sense of adventure. The scenery makes up for it—an abandoned cabin, winding creeks, and enough fungi to start a mushroom farm.
