Timekeeping at #Parkrun tomorrow so I went for my easy run tonight. 9km around the town centre including some laps of the parkrun course before heading home.

Traffic management has returned. Monkton Lane is closed, and Ashurst Bridge Road will be slow or restricted.

🚧 Southern Water works – tankers are back, and this affects parkrun parking.
Sewer maintenance began on Tuesday 7 April and is expected to last around three weeks. Tankers are back on site to manage wastewater flows.

Cieszyn parkrun.
Cieszyn parkrun. Set within a park that straddles the Polish and Czech border, this is the only parkrun in the world to cross into another country that does not host events. The route starts at Cieszyn Municipal Stadium, crosses the Sports Bridge into Český Těšín, a town in Czech Republic, then follows the Olza River before looping back to finish where it began.
Saw this on #parkrun Facebook and Instagram, absolutely fascinating about this event at Cieszyn.
Set within a park that straddles the Polish and Czech border, this is the only parkrun in the world to cross into another country that does not host events.

Magnets to fasten a race bib (paper sign with your race number marked on it, the reverse usually has your emergency contact information on it), instead of using safety pins.
Yellow running top with reflective stripes on the shoulders.
The postie has been today while I’ve been out. Another summer weight running top, hopefully the yellow will help drivers spot me as I train on my long runs. Also, treated myself to a milestone shirt from #parkrun and some magnets to fasten race bibs to my shirt rather than safety pins. #LoveParkrun

parkrun no.410 took me across the border to County Cavan and Edwin Carolan Community parkrun. Not great conditions but super friendly volunteers and a great welcome and chat with others. 4 lapper and pancake flat. Finished 18th overall. Thanks as always to the fabulous volunteers. #loveparkrun
