Photograph taken looking up at a classical marble sculpture taken at Chatsworth House. The image shows a right poser. Apparently it's Apollo, who couldn't decide what to be God of, so covered all bases with music, poetry and the sun! As you do. He's got one arm up behind his head, elongating his torso, whilst holding his lyre (fancy hand held harp) with his free hand. He has a fine head of wavy hair but appears to have been garrotted at some point, then neatly patched up. He's positioned himself in illuminating soft light from the large window behind him, in the corridor outside the door from the chapel. Perhaps he's wanting to entice the ladies away from their psalms. Either way, good luck to you fella!

A lyre guitar, a stringed instrument combining a guitar neck and strings with a decorative lyre-shaped body. The soundboard is flanked by two tall dark wood columns topped with large ornate ivory-colored scrolls. The peghead features carved leaf decoration. Two circular gilded floral rosettes adorn the soundboard, with additional gilt metalwork around the bridge. The instrument stands upright against a plain gray background.

I went to Trondheim to DJ after the epic folktronica band Ævestaden and also caught a track with them on camera. They use archaic folk music instruments such as #lyre alongside electronic productions to make a modern nordic sound. #folkmusic #electronicmusic
