Green Sandpipers have been unusually absent around #LytchettFields over the last couple of weeks so at least 2(possibly 3) around today would suggest a bit of Spring passage has started. This one was in front of RLV screen

The Osprey didn't go very far. It landed in a tree along the causeway between French's and Sherford Pools in front of French's Viewpoint. It spent 20 minutes eating the large fish before getting pushed off by Gulls #LytchettFields

Within a minute of starting to hunt the Osprey dived and caught a fish on its first attempt , it then headed off towards #LytchettFields on a low trajectory

This Yellowhammer landed in the tree in front of French's Viewpoint on 20/03/26 , a scarce bird at #LytchettFields but having a good year so far
