As soon as I saw this overhead I said to my dad that MVDP had it in the bag. They gave him so much space.
I guess Pogačar was trying to leave some rush room, but he got it very very wrong and then couldn't really get either Van der Poel's or Ganna's slipstream properly.

I am normally not a fan of Milan-Sanremo.
I find it dull and predictable for the majority with a good final 20km or so.
But, this year the men's race was superb for the final 40km.
A bit disappointed with the women's race but yeah, it just isn't hard enough.
