My mom was curious about the #mtihat I was knitting for one of my daughters. I explained the story of them & she liked it. Yesterday I added a braided tassel to my dad’s old red beanie and my mom wore it to the library.

#knitsky #mtihat the hat is done and drying out from blocking. Pre blocking picture here (I made three icords at the crown, 4 stitches each cord, then knotted the cords together, braided the cords, then knotted the cords together again). This one was in worsted weight and US size 8 needle

I've gotten through the 1x1 rib section (with only a few mistakes here and there) and the three knit rows. Now, I have to figure out what all the abbreviations in the rest of the pattern mean. 😅 This is my first project on needles and it's been a super interesting learning process. #mtihat
