Something tells me that I hit a nerve here. Never completely entrust your memories to a third party service, because they don't care about them like you do, and they can delete or otherwise lose them at any time, and you will be out of luck if you didn't retain copies. #trustnobody #makebackups

TIL: The backup of stuff I wrote more than a decade (!) ago was still there. A very pleasant surprise after I ran a (not only potentially) destructive script. One I wrote myself but didn't bother to *fully* read _and_ understand. 😳
