I wouldn't call this terrible, but "make a terrible comic day" is what motivated me to draw my favorite girls in a quick, low-thought comic based on the fact everyone is always surprised to learn River used to be married and is, in fact, divorced.

Yami Marik challenges Yami Bakura and regular Marik to a duel. Ensues a long awkward elevator ride. Regular Marik attempts to lighten the mood with a joke. This only makes things even more awkward and tense.

Mike Flores slumps next to a pool. In the distance is Evie, the Editor, and an old Hispanic woman who is barring their way, saying "NO. No permite. I won't let you!" Evie crouches across the pool from him. In the background, you can hear every other word from the woman, who is yelling at the Editor. “...good boy... won't let..." "Hi," says Evie. "Hi." says Mike. "...not suicide..." says the woman in the background. A black thing emerges from the pool in front of Mike and Evie, startling them both. It turns out to be a black-haired girl, who smiles. "Hi." "Come with me, quick!" she shouts, reaching out to Mike. He allows himself to be pulled in while Evie watches in surprise. The old woman notices when he calls out "Bye!" “Hijo!” she shouts, jumping after him. She lands on a surface like concrete and can't get through. Evie and the Editor exchange a surprised glance.

Panel 1: Character in orange, Emm, is sitting at a table, drawing a comic strip. A character with a tie, Admin, stands next to her, looking at what she's drawing, and says "Oh, nice. Is that for Make A Terrible Comic Day?" Panel 2: Emm is now looking up at Admin, both of them with a less happy expression. An insert at the top shows Emm's comic is incredibly scribbly, with colours constantly bleeding outside the lines and missing spots. Emm asks "What?", while Admin responds with "Nevermind." in a smaller font size.

What up, #makeaterriblecomicday ? Here's one of hundreds of terrible comics I love making. Next to a terrible mess of fruity pebbles that a child made.

i’ve been thinking a lot about tenna. not just him as a character, but why i’ve grown so attached to him. and i think it’s because he reminds me of how i was 5 years ago. i was someone who wanted to impress the people i cared about - whp wanted to be seen as worthy and important and fun to be aeound. but it was driven by something deeper. a twisting, churning, overwhelming fear.

i mean, the nature of my fear was differenr. but my emotiomal response was similar. exploding at certain subjects. taking extreme countermeasures against the fear. and losing friends i cared abour because of my behavior.

i don’t really know how to conclude this “comic.” i just wrote it as a stream of consciousness. wanted to pick apart a character i liked and why i latched onto him. maybe i’ll just weire out the feelinsg that’ve been bubbling in my chest. i don’t know if they’re “correct” or not - but they’re there - and i think that should be acknowledged. for me, i appreciate how tenna was allowed to talk about his fear. and how he got the reassurance he needed from someone he cared about. i want to believe his heart is in the right place. that he just wanted to make his family smile. to not be lonely. loneliness hurts. so despite everything, i hope he can live a live where he can be happy and loved. end - by mado
