I went for #Matomo for now. "Self hosting" using #Wordpress plugin on webhost located in Norway. More features and seemed a better fit than @umami.is for now.

Mindset shift, for web analytics, in the Machine Learning era:
AI doesn't steal web traffic, it qualifies it. The folks arriving at your site want to be there, and they convert at a higher rate, which probably makes up for the loss in direct traffic.
