A tan wolf-figurine, clearly a crafting-project in progress. A light fog greeted my wife and me as we embarked on our pre-dawn walk. The temperature was hovering just above freezing, the buildings of lower Manhattan shrouded in chilly mist across the river. The last remains of snow clung to the edges of the sidewalk, no longer crunching beneath our feet. With the moon hidden behind the thick clouds, we strolled along by only the blurred glow of streetlights, breathing in the quiet. And just as we turned for home, it began to rain softly… Here’s some more (US) morning mellow.
