Seconded! I always make a pilgrimage to Roberts' each time I'm in Meirionydd. Smashing flapjacks 😋

Sadly, I had to return home from #Meirionydd after a splendid week immersed in music, mountains, lakes, rivers, woods, the sea and lovely communities with shared interests 🥲
At a break in my journey at the Erwood Station "services", I was consoled by this calm and composed polar bear dog 🐻‍❄🐶

After a rousing, emotional finale to the Machynlleth Festival, a last swim in calm and pearlescent Cardigan Bay, our old salty mother embraced by its long arms.
And farewell (for a while) to Cader Idris and Craig Aderyn, resting yet ever watchful above the Dysynni valley.

My annual pilgrimage to Cwm Ratgoed. Warm, solitary, with swifts.

Happy cows in Happy Valley / Cwm Maethlon, also huge view over #Dyfi estuary☀️
And a distant, hazy view of Ynys Enlli / Bardsey, with a closer view through the vision of Roger Wagner, currently showing at MoMA, #Machynlleth.

Ah! The Minfordd path is one of the best approaches to Cader Idris, and as good coming down, too. For me, there's a sweet sadness when leaving. But the mountain is always reassuringly present, no matter how far away, its gravity tugging me ..
