Kronosaurus Headbust sketch.

My first non dinosaur paleoart for 2026.

(Based from Baols and Dead Sound's design for reference)

Commonly regarded as the top apex predator of the Eromanga Sea of the Cretaceous period, this massive marine reptiles was the most powerful predator in the oceans of what's now the land down under. They're the ultimate scourge of the oceans during the Mesozoic period.

They're not dinosaurs mind you, but more closely related to pleisosaurids which pilosaurids such as Kronosaurus feasted on for food.

A headbust sketch of the giant pilosaurid Kronosaurus.

Arguably considered the most terrifying and largest of the pilosaurids with powerful jaws and conical teeth to help crush its prey.

A male Lambeosaurus casually strolls around in what’s now Canada’s Dinosaur Park Formation in the Late Cretaceous, with a beautiful sunrise and flowers blooming signaling the start of spring.

(Design based on Dead Sound’s Dinosauria design of Lambeosaurus of “A More Ancient Spring.” His animations of dinosaurs are genuinely good and I highly recommend you guys watch him if you haven’t!)
