The great #MildredBailey, colorized. Ms. Bailey’s contemporaries were Billie, Ella, and Sarah. Mildred believed that because of her weight she wasn’t allowed to claim the one name monicker like her friends. And that’s a terrible shame. I’ll put my fave work of her’s in the comments.
