I will also add that I love being able to hear the roughness and genuine analogue nature of the #minilogue on "kannanir."
It isn’t that the recordings are unpolished… it’s just that the beauty of a synth that’s kind of noisy is able to shine and it adds nicely to the overall atmosphere

1. Recorded a new version of a song with the #minilogue that I’m much happier with.

Seriously, the fact that I could copy/paste my finished mastering chain for the first version of this #minilogue track into the second version saved me so much work, but I still have tweaking to do. #bitwig is awesome

Work continues on the #minilogue album. Opening track is re-recorded. I figured out the "noise" pulse is actually from the resonance soooo… fine, whatever, I’ll let it live in the sound. Switched from a chorus to ensemble as well and it’s just better

No preview clips of the #minilogue track I recorded yesterday just yet. I’m redoing it from scratch (copy/pasting my mastering chain from the first version though so the major work is done). I listened to it more and it just feels rushed, which won’t fit with the song I recorded today. /1
