No #POTA activation, but this year’s #MissouriRiver (late) #fall foliage tour from Atchison #Kansas, up to Indian Cave State Park in #Nebraska, did not disappoint.
So, while doing desk work on a possible trip on The #MissouriRiver from the very source (Brower's Spring, Montana), the descriptions are uniformly ones of exreme difficulty.

‘Robert Gwathmey (1903 - 1988) was an American social realist painter. After initially studying in business, he later studied a year at the Maryland Institute of Design in Baltimore, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. Throughout his studies Gwathmey was influenced by many artists including Picasso, Matisse, and Vincent van Gogh, french satirist Honoré Daumier, Millet, and Degas. Gwathmey is known for simplifying compositions and using symbolic abstraction to create his messages.
