For clarity: the event is still taking place at the scheduled time (Nov 3-8 for #PreMoodPitch and Nov 9 for #MoodPitch), but it will be on Discord and our website to free up space on socials for world news and info. We will follow up with more details and instructions shortly!
We also request that, regardless of your opinion (for or against #Moodpitch), you refrain from using language that could be harmful or hateful to others, as our mission is to be inclusive and provide accessibility and respect to all.
Discord channels will be set up to run #PreMoodPitch activities; connect with other writers; share pitches; practise pitches, moodboards, and ALT text; ask questions, etc. We have plans to expand #MoodPitch and the website and Discord server will allow for that.

I’ll be doing #MoodPitch! It’s really fun & I’ve seen tons of great stories.
Biggest worry is with data/AI. My pitch’ll be fine, but my board uses art (w/ permission) & I don’t relish the thought of adding good art to the AI slurry.
Think I’ll make a new board w/ stock images- will be fun to do!
