Eastern Great Egret wading in the shallows is trying to catch fish. The shallow waters are very still. The sand banks are exposed because of the low tide. There are clouds on the horizon.

A pretty creek that flows into #MoretonBay is Cabbage Tree Creek. There are pathways along the tributary for cycling & walking, and it’s popular among #twitchers. It forms part of a #Ramsar site. Lots of marine life as well.
