SEVERE STORM UPDATE - PARTS OF EASTERN #NSW - Posted: 11:43am, Sunday 18 January A fresh southeasterly flow to the south of a trough about the NSW coast is generating heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms, with some of these bringing heavy rainfall. Conditions should ease by early afternoon. Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include #Newcastle, #Gosford, #Maitland, #Morisset, #Wyong and #Cessnock.
