The sun is behind mountains and clouds streak the sky. A river flows in fem the left below a ledge and flows onto a large river that enters from the right. A golf course is in the lower right. Buildings of a small town are between the 2 rivers.

A boat dock floats out on a lake with a mountain in the distance. It is a hazy grey day. The mountain has evergreen trees on its slopes and rocky ledges with a little snow on top. Some houses line the far shore. The mountain is reflected in the mostly calm water. The boat ramp can be seen under the clear water to the lower left. The trail where photos were taken a few days ago on a sunny day across the lake can be seen on the lower left side of the mountain.

A partially frozen pond reflects a two-topped peak in the distance. Some snow is at the top of the dark, evergreen sided peaks. The neat shore is sandy with sticks.

Recent #dogwalks combined with #birding. Q’ówqèwem #kawkawalake had little ice, a view of Qemqemó #MountOgilvie and many coots plus dreams of swimming and boating in the summertime. Starrett’s pond had a lot of ice, many ring-necked ducks and a nice reflection of Islléleqw #Isolillockpeak

Sun lights up a mountain Qemqemó also known as Mount Ogilvie that has evergreen trees and some snow. A nearly full moon is on the blue sky. The closer slopes have trees and some snow. An open area of still water reflects the mountain.

A distant snowy mountain (Mount Outram with McLeod peak in front of it) is framed by tree-covered slopes and evergreen trees with a dusting of snow.

A cattail has a covering of frost and snow. More reeds and grass with snow is in the background.

Four trumpeter swans, two white adults and two grey juveniles, float on water. Snowy reeds and grasses and the lights of dwellings can be seen in the background.

Chilly 🦮 #dogwalk at #thackermarsh. 1) Qemqemó aka #MountOgilvie with the moon and the setting sun, 2) Mt Outram and McLeod Peak, 3) snow and frost on a cattail 4) a family of swans #trumpeterswan , not often seen at the local marsh. They are usually further west down the valley.

A mossy rock is in the foreground and a still lagoon is many feet below, ringed by brush reflected in the lagoon. A rocky, grassy area leads back to a large swollen river (Stó:lō, the Fraser River). The long metal bridge for Highway 1 (the Trans-Canada Highway) crosses the river far to the left of the image. Beyond that are tall fir trees with a layer of fog behind them and in the distance a tall dark ridge including Qemqemó (Mt Ogilvie) towards the right.
