People’s pride is a mask required space so you are at the event you should be masked if physically able. People who can not due to disabilities are the only people exempt from doing so. If you want/need a mask break give yourself space away from the larger groups of people and events within the park to do so. Vendors, stage and food areas will be masked the sports area may not be but it is appreciated. While masks are required for People’s Pride this is a public space where there will be folks who can’t mask up.We intend to have this space be as safe as possible. Please don’t forcefully engage with anyone for not wearing a mask. You may not know their reasons for doing so. All we can do is offer one to those without who are willing to wear one other than that lets hope people are simply doing their best for what is right for their safety as well as our community.
Masks can be provided by Mask Bloc MSP and will be available at the welcome table by the rec center. If you are able please provide your own mask for you and your friends as we have a limited supply.There will be a medic near the welcome table as well two floater medics with walkie talkies. Any extra volunteers will be near the welcome table for accessibility support.
