Late to the game as usual. Someone introduced me to the music of @andrewbird this week and I'm really enjoying it. I cut my teeth on punk, thrash, and hardcore but I'm really enjoying the Tom Waits/Nick Cave era of my life. Bird fits well there, a cheery tone.

this is a black and white cartoon with two figures speaking to each other, one on the left and one on the right. the first person on the left says "what kind of music do you like", to which the second person on the right says "whatever kind you like but their earlier stuff". the first person replies "well. I like their unreleased demos, so..." to which the second person replies "yeah. but I like the stuff they never recorded". the first person simply replies "me too".

Amazing album .
#Justice released this album late last Spring but I was engaged to a literal #musicsnob who insisted upon modern emo and folk music being played constantly.
No wonder the vibe was off in my home. Imagine being depressed year-round and yet you won't change the vibe? Silly kids....

I know spotify is terrible and everything, but I go to gigs, buy vinyl, & support many bands. I also know my music taste is probably not that cool, But there are certain bands coming up in a lot of lists who are utter crap. Proving spotify is for people who don't like music. #MusicSnob come at me!
