I want you to know about these 3 musicians. So I’m presenting you with my take on one of their releases. Read and listen, please.
## 3 Unsigned Musicians
Each of these brief reviews started as even shorter mini-reviews. I posted them on Bandcamp, BlueSky, and Mastodon. I’ll provide a link to at least one of each of those in my rundown here on the blog.
More than anything, I want you to know what wonderful music there is beyond the million-sellers. Here are three superb examples. And, of course, this is part of my growing community of unsigned musicians. Check out a few.

And now, in no particular order, the three musicians: Will, Richard, and David.
## David Dellacroce
I have appreciated David Dellacroce’s videos of solo guitar for about a year. Each time, I am drawn into the technique and smooth stylings of his playing.
This album felt like an extension of those experiences. This time, there was no visual connection to his performance. I think this made me appreciate his playing even more. _Favorite track:Crackling Near the Light Switch_
These are perfect tracks for “getting me out of my head” (in a good way). I hope you’ll appreciate these as much as I do.
## Richard Davies
Pure beauty. The nuance of sax and other instruments — notably tablas which feature on several tracks. Richard is highly capable both on the saxophones and as a composer. Please listen to and download his releases.
Many people will hear these tracks as jazz. I can hear that, too. I also hear them as a fusion of lounge, world, and mood music. Moods these bring up in me range from touching to expectation. Favorite track: Anxiety Hides in my Dreams.
Richard is a musician’s musician, so he has some collaborations available as well. And I’m looking forward to adding more from Richard to my collection. I hope you do, too.
## Shuāilǎo 衰老 (Will)
I’ve been a fan of this composer/songwriter for a while. I have the entire set of releases from this artist (via BandCamp) when Shuāilǎo was Omi In Vitro. This release is a beautiful continuation and departure from those releases as well as earlier (hard) rock songs under another moniker.
I’ll be honest: this album is not my usual listening sweet spot. And yet, I already feel this album becoming one of my go-to listens. Will’s songwriting harkens back to deep compositional skills and powerful intuition demonstrated in those earlier works.
For this release, Will chose to be in the moment. No click-track, no metronome, and no quantization; except for the ones in his mind and soul. My favorite track is “Collapse”.
Well worth listening. I’m sure you _will_ hear what I mean. Highly recommended.
That’s it for today and it’s a lot. Three (3) amazing musicians who deserve to be heard.
