There, she focused on diagnostic assay development, data analysis, and laboratory troubleshooting – skills she brings to NCARD’s translational research efforts.

Spotlight on: Dr Xiao Zhong – NCARD Dr Zhong’s interest in bioinformatics began at the Beijing Genomics Institute (BGI), where he worked from 2010 to 2015. This early experience inspired him to pursue a PhD at the University of Western Australia (UWA) and deepen his work in genetic data analysis.
