Stunning image of the bipolar emission nebula NGC 6164-5, illuminated by the hot, massive star HD 148937 at its center. The nebula's symmetrical shape, possibly sculpted by stellar winds and magnetic fields, is highlighted against a backdrop of distant stars. Cometary knots of gas are visible in the lower left. This celestial object is located approximately 4,000 light-years away in the Norma constellation and spans four light-years across.
